Normally when I order sandwiches/subs from a deli, the options are fairly standard. I was pleasantly surprised to find some slightly more creative options here, in the mini-foodcourt of the JetBlue terminal at the JFK Airport.
The Signature Sandwiches menu features several items that have a little kick to them to notch it up: caramelized onion, mango mayonnaise, hot pepper relish, etc. All items are priced between $9.50 - $10.
I ordered the Blackened Turkey Reuben: chipotle gouda, coleslaw, sliced pickles, thousand island dressing, rye bread. The sandwich, while not particularly large, had a generous amount of turkey in it, and it was great! -

I get it. I understand airport food is expensive. I understand it's overpriced.
I paid $12 for a roll, which I was okay with. I was "okay" with being charged an extra $1.50 to have onions on my sandwich. (The same price as cheese..) but then you're going to give me ONE SLICE of roast beef after waiting an ungodly amount of time. It's honestly unacceptable and I will never be going there again.
Save your money and go anywhere else besides here. -

At the Kennedy Airport traveling and had to grab a bite. I decided on a turkey club because I haven't had one in quite some time. At this airport lication, you have to pick your option on a touch screen and you leave your phone number so they can text you when your order is ready. I thought that was kind of odd but I guess with all the traffic that comes through the airport they had to figure out a way to do it. It was a very delicious sandwich and tasted very fresh. It was on an a nice kaiser roll. They did not skimp on the turkey or the bacon and Board Head Meat is always good quality.. Only issue I have with the is the price. $10.99 for a sandwich is a bit much. It wasn't Gourmet or anyting. But you can't expect anything else from any restaurant in the airport!

Between the long wait times, rude staff and bare bones sandwiches - not worth the price.

Coming from a vegetarian, this may surprise you, but as much of a bummer as layovers are, I get excited to eat here!!
The wait is HORRIBLE!! It always is. You place your order on a self service screen and stand in disorganized chaos for a long time, but it's a good, fresh sandwich.
I get cibatta with mozzarella, avocado, lettuce and mayonnaise. They have a build your own sandwich option, which is what I get. It's expensive, but I really do look forward to it every time I go to jfk.
Make sure you have some extra time, but definitely worth the wait.
